This submission for the “EEuromed 2024 – Sports in the Mediterraneanuromed 2024 – Sports in the Mediterranean” commemorative stamp competition reflects the enduring legacy of athleticism within the Mediterranean region. 
Capturing the essence of competitive running, the design centers on a sprinter in the final moments of a race, poised above the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean Sea. As a runner living in the Mediterranean, that moment holds a special resonance for me because I personally felt the excitement of the race with the Mediterranean Sea as my backdrop.
