Vlad wants blood
Vlad wants blood poster is a side project and part of the series of illustrations of political figures.Τhe whole screen-printing process took a considerable amount of time since the illustration was not initially designed for screen-printing so there were a lot of technical issues to tackle there but being guided by expert of the screenprinting craft, artist and colleague Paris Christodoulou, the whole experience was nothing but sheer fun.
The printmaking took place at the facilities MGA Makerspace, the makers lab of the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts (MGA) of Cyprus University of Technology, a few months before COVID takes over the world (hence we’re not wearing masks).
In the video you can see only a small part of the process which is applying just one colour, and being one of the last layers it really felt satisfying and fulfilling.
